Born in L.A. in 1978, Tristan Eaton started pursuing street art as a teenager, painting everything from billboards to dumpsters in the urban landscapes of the cities where he lived, be it London, Detroit, or New York. After forming his Creative Agency Thunderdog Studios in New York City in 2004, Eaton become a leader in the advertising and commercial-art spheres, and is regularly commissioned by a roster of clients that includes Nike, Versace, and even Barack Obama.

These days, Eaton is one of the most prominent street artists working today. Eaton's large scale mural work features a meticulous, visual collage of pop imagery mixed with his unique personal style, all executed with freehand spray paint on a colossal scale. WK was born in 1969 in Caen, France. He has lived and worked in New York since the early 1990s. WK is interested with the human body in motion, his paintings of figures frozen in a flight of movement reflects this infatuation. The artist's unique process involves a technique of twisting an original drawing or photograph while it's being photocopied, resulting in the monochromatic palette and streamlined moment-in-time appearance of his finished work.

WK site-determines his placements by finding an appropriate location first, then his imagery is chosen specifically with a concern for encounters in an urban environment or "interactions" (as the artist indicates in his pseudonym). In the late 1990s his images began appearing on building facades in downtown Manhattan, complimenting the constant stir of bodies and the perpetual motion of contemporary urban life in the fast-paced city.

Russian artist Pokras Lampas was born in 1991, and today is one of the most distinguished modern calligraphy representatives. He started creating graffiti in 2008 and soon after was inspired by the Calligraffiti movement; hence he turned his focus to street calligraphy. Later, he was invited to become an official Calligraffiti ambassador while he was also working on and representing the self-developed Calligrafuturism style. He has participated in collaborations with such famous brands as Lamborghini, YSL, Nike, and many others.

In 2015, Pokras performed the first world's largest calligraffiti on the rooftop of the Red October in Moscow. In 2017 he created the biggest calligraphy in Italy on the rooftop of the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in Rome invited by FENDI.

Frank "Shepard Fairey" is a very famous graphic artist, muralist, and overall artist. He was born on February 15, 1970 in Charleston, South Carolina in the United States. In 1988, the artist graduated from Idyllwild Arts Academy in Palm Springs, California. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island in 1992.

JR (born 22 February 1983) is the pseudonym of a French photographer and artist whose identity is unconfirmed. Describing himself as a photograffeur, he flyposts large black-and-white photographic images in public locations, in a manner similar to the appropriation of the built environment by the graffiti artist.

He states that the street is "the largest art gallery in the world". He started out on the streets of Paris.JR's work "often challenges widely held preconceptions and the reductive images propagated by advertising and the media." JR's work combines art and action, and deals with commitment, freedom, identity and limits.

He has been introduced by Fabrice Bousteau as: "the one we already call the Cartier-Bresson of the 21st century".On 20 October 2010, JR won the TED Prize for 2011. He used the $100,000 award money to start the Inside Out Project.

"D*FACE", a.k.a. Dean Stockton, is an English multimedia street artist who uses spray paint, stickers, posters, and stencils. He grew up in London and had a childhood interest in graffiti. He held his first major London solo exhibition, Death & Glory, at the Stolenspace gallery, which sold out in October 2006. Since then, his exhibitions have included a solo show, Eyecons, at O Contemporary in Brighton in March 2007, again a sell out show.

This featured new paintings, an installation and two prints — of Kurt "Kant Complain" and Cli-Che. D*Face was the owner and curator for the Outside Institute, London's first contemporary art gallery to focus on street art. In 2005 the Outside Institute moved and re-branded to become the Stolen Space Gallery. In 2010, he collaborated with Christina Aguilera, on her album cover of Bionic. In October 2013 D*Face took part in Art Wars at the Saatchi Gallery curated by Ben Moore.

The artist was issued with a stormtrooper helmet, which he transformed into a work of art. Since its inception in 1999, FAILE has been known for a wide ranging multimedia practice recognizable for its explorations of duality through a fragmented style of appropriation and collage.

While painting and printmaking remain central to their approach, over the past decade FAILE has adapted its signature mass culture-driven iconography to an array of materials and techniques, from wooden boxes and window pallets to more traditional canvas, prints, sculptures, stencils, installation, and prayer wheels.

FAILE's work is constructed from found visual imagery, and blurs the line between "high" and "low" culture, but recent exhibitions demonstrate an emphasis on audience participation, a critique of consumerism, and the incorporation of religious media, architecture, and site-specific/archival research into their work.
